Christmas with Robert

Robert had a wonderful first Christmas. Besides missing naps and getting very tired, he really enjoyed himself.

We started a tradition with an advent calendar mommy made. This year, Daddy got to eat all the candy, but watch out next year!

Robert opens his stocking at Christmas #1 at Mimi and Bopaw's. This was one of many.

Robert's favorite part about Christmas hands down was eating the packaging.

We had a brief Christmas morning at our house. Robert got a laptop and daddy really liked the present Robert picked for him (a remote control helicopter.)

Robert celebrated his half birthday with cake from a shower that GiGi saved in her freezer all this time. Of course he wasn't allowed to eat his cake.

Robert has been exploring new foods. His first vegetable was butternut squash. He wasn't too sure about it at first. Mommy is making his food for him and she got it too thick the first time. Now he loves it. He's a great eater. He now gets sweet potatoes, apples, pears, peas, and carrots and loves them.
